Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Technologist in Dublin, OH to join our team. The role involves handling specimens, performing testing, and ensuring accurate results to support patient care.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science or MLS, with at least 1 year of lab experience (or MLS). Certification is preferred. Schedule is Tue–Sat, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
