Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking an Laboratory Technologist - Histology Technologist to perform processing, testing, and reporting in the histology lab. The candidate will maintain quality control, ensure safety, and assist with training as needed.

The ideal applicant holds a Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or equivalent, with ASCP certification preferred and strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or a chemical/physical/biological science from an accredited institution is required.
• ASCP certification is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex histology procedures with accuracy and timely reporting.
