Job summary

Streck is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee cell line and molecular production activities in our Nebraska facility. The role emphasizes scheduling, inventory management, aseptic processing, and staff leadership to maintain high-quality production aligned with FDA and ISO standards.

The position requires a science-related degree (BS or AS with experience) and prior supervisory experience in a regulated lab. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science related discipline or an Associate degree with applicable experience.
• ISO/FDA environment experience preferred with prior supervisory experience.
• Experience in a BSL-2 laboratory preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of cell lines and molecular components according to SOPs and Quality System requirements.
• Demonstrate competency for all processing steps and assist with daily activities.
• Ensure all process documentation is accurate and timely.
• Maintain aseptic procedures to meet sterility requirements.
• Maintain inventories of raw materials and supplies; request purchases as needed.
• Keep a clean, organized, and sanitary work area supporting aseptic technique.
• Report production schedule, procedure, or personnel issues to the Production Manager.
• Contribute to process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring department staff.
• Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings and annual performance evaluations.
• Schedule and plan all departmental functions, including production schedules and vacations.
• Review and revise departmental documents to ensure adherence to FDA & ISO Quality Systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve production problems and meet schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
