Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science related discipline, or an Associate degree with applicable experience.
• Experience in an ISO/FDA environment with prior Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a BSL-2 laboratory preferred.
• Must be dependable, well organized, possess good interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise processing of cell lines and molecular components in accordance with SOPs and QA systems.
• Demonstrate competency for all processing steps and cover for technicians as needed.
• Maintain accurate, legible, timely process documentation.
• Maintain aseptic procedures and sterility requirements.
• Manage inventories of raw materials and supplies; request purchases as needed.
• Lead departmental planning and scheduling of production activities.
