Job summary

BIOVIA is seeking a Ph.D.-level Pre-Sales Industry Process Expert in Molecular Modeling to join our team. You will translate customers' scientific challenges into compelling presentations, demonstrations, and workflows, covering small-molecule and biologics discovery, molecular modeling, and structure-based design.

You will demonstrate advanced workflows, support the sales cycle, and contribute to product strategy by sharing customer feedback with Product Management and R&D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required in a computational science field.
• Strong knowledge of molecular modeling and drug discovery.
• Python proficiency and scientific computing experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand scientific challenges and translate to workflows.
• Deliver compelling scientific presentations, demonstrations, and solution workflows.
• Present technical workshops and demonstrations to customers.
• Support sales by aligning BIOVIA capabilities with customer objectives.
• Demonstrate workflows for small-molecule and biologics discovery.
• Show how AI/ML and automation complement modeling approaches.
• Stay updated on emerging scientific methods and competitive approaches.
• Communicate feedback to Product Management and R&D.
• Provide scientific leadership and best-practice sharing within the team.

Education

Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry/Biophysics/Structural Biology
