Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland is seeking Medical Technologist/MLT/Lab Technician in Molecular Microbiology for night shifts at the Main Campus. You will perform and interpret complex tests, ensuring quality control and proper documentation to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant laboratory science field.
• Meets CLIA high complexity testing qualifications; education verified.

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, testing, analysis and reporting.
• Maintain quality control and calibration records for instruments.
• Participate in proficiency testing and routine competency assessments.
• Engage in continuing education and staff training.
• Identify issues affecting test performance and escalate as needed.
• Educate students, employees and residents on theory and procedures.
