Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Medical Technologist/Med Lab Technician for the Main Campus in Cleveland, OH. This night-shift role (11:00pm–7:30am) performs tests across complexity levels, interprets results, and ensures documentation and quality control.

Ideal candidates hold a lab science degree, meet CLIA high complexity qualifications, and will participate in continuing education. A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Meets CLIA high complexity testing qualifications.
• Diploma and/or transcripts provided; education verified.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge regarding job duties and compliance.
• Adhere to quality control policies and calibration/maintenance of instruments.
• Address quality issues promptly and maintain clear documentation.
• Perform proficiency testing and participate in ongoing education.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisors as needed.
