Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Technologist Trainee to join the Molecular Micro team in Burlington, NC. This entry-level role offers full training to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures and help ensure accurate test results for patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science and is prepared to work Sunday-Thursday shifts with potential overtime to meet business needs. Training provided, equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

Responsibilities

Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.
