Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist Trainee to join our Toxicology/Bio Monitoring team located in Burlington, NC. The role runs Saturday through Tuesday, 2:00pm–12:30am, with training provided to new grads.

You will perform testing and related technical tasks, follow SOPs, troubleshoot instrumentation, and ensure accurate results to support patient care. A bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science or medical technology is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with PPE requirements.
