Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Microbiology or related life sciences field preferred.
• Familiar with veterinary biologics, biologics R&D, diagnostic assays, vaccine production, quality control and regulatory agencies.
• Good verbal and written communication; good manufacturing, laboratory and clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead daily lab functions: nucleic acid extraction, PCR setup, library prep per SOPs.
• Work in a Biosafety Level 2 environment following safety policies.
• Coordinate projects and experiments to meet goals and timelines.
• Maintain data records in notebooks and electronic systems; communicate results clearly.
• Ensure lab and equipment meet project and regulatory requirements.
