Job summary

Primary Talent Partners, LLC has an opening for a Molecular Biology Analyst at our pharmaceutical client site in West Point, PA. This 6-month contract role offers pay of $52.50–$60.77 per hour on a W2 basis and is onsite at West Point, PA with no PTO or benefits included. An ACA-compliant supplemental package is available for enrollment.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to sit on our W2 without sponsorship. 100% lab-based onsite position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in life-science fields with relevant lab experience.
• At least 2 years applying molecular biology techniques in industry or academia.
• Experience with ELISA, DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, cloning, restriction digests, transformations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SOPs and operate standard lab equipment with meticulous record keeping.
• Maintain E-notebook records for experiments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard operating procedures involving basic laboratory techniques, operation of laboratory equipment and record keeping necessary to a research laboratory.
• Responsible for E-notebook records.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in life science related fields with at least 4 years of lab experience Or, Master's Degree in life science related fields.

Skills

• Requires at least 2 year experience in the application of Molecular Biology laboratory techniques in industrial or academic settings.
• Experience in the use of basic laboratory techniques, including ELISA, DNA extraction, PCR, Nucleic acid gel electrophoresis, cloning, restriction enzyme digests, transformations, etc.
