Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Production Technician II – Molding to ensure safe, efficient injection molding operations.

You will set up molds, optimize machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead mold changeovers while maintaining validated parameters and target cycle times. You will drive continuous improvement through LEAN, 6S and GMP practices, support operators, monitor downtime and scrap, and document activity with accuracy to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and 6S workplace organization.
• Understanding of GMP requirements and safety policies.
• Experience with injection molding processes and mold changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Follow GDP procedures and maintain documentation.
• Operate and adjust molding equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform safety policies including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements.
• Set up molds to machine specifications and ensure proper torque and alignment.
• Maintain validated operating parameters and target cycle times.
• Lead mold changeovers and monitor cycle sheets.
• Support operators and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure PMs on molds and equipment are performed.
• Communicate with Quality, Maintenance and Mold Shop teams to achieve performance goals.
• Report downtime, scrap and labor efficiency.
• Lead LEAN, 6S initiatives and safety/GMP programs.
