Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Production Technician II – Molding to ensure safe, efficient operation of injection molding processes. You will set up molds, optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead mold changeovers.

The role emphasizes LEAN initiatives, 6S practices, and strict adherence to GMP/DGP and safety standards, working with a cross-functional team to meet production goals in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3–5 years relevant injection molding experience preferred.
• Good mechanical proficiency and proficient computer skills.
• Ability to formulate plans and solve problems.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• RJG Systematic 1 Molding Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds to specified mold/machine requirements and torque clamp bolts.
• Operate and adjust machines to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Lead mold changeovers and monitor production efficiency.
• Submit startup and mold approval samples with documentation.
• Support operators and report downtime, scrap and efficiency.
