Job summary

Cambro Manufacturing in Alabama seeks a Process Tech II to own the injection molding cell, perform mold set-ups and start-ups, and maximize daily output. You will monitor cycles, troubleshoot issues, and lead changeovers while working with engineering, mold shop, scheduling, and QA to hit production targets.

The ideal candidate has advanced troubleshooting skills, strong teamwork, and a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency on third shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related experience.
• Advanced level processing/troubleshooting skills.
• Develop, optimize and document run parameters for molds and equipment.
• Coordinate with Injection Molding department and other teams.
• Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Lead a group to accomplish predetermined goals and ensure safety.
• Understand department KPIs and contribute to goals.
• Follow quality standards and report safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold set-ups and start-ups daily to maximize output.
• Monitor cycle times, part quality and weights for adherence to standards.
• Lead mold changeovers and train others on setup procedures.
• Provide technical support to set-up technicians to tune jobs.
• Collaborate with Sr. Tech Supervisor, Engineering, Mold Shop, Scheduling and QA.
