Job summary

Havis, Inc. in Warminster, PA is seeking a Setup Technician for injection molding to install and start molds, verify water lines, and follow molding data sheets. You will coordinate with Maintenance to keep equipment in top condition and ensure efficient machine setups for production.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, 1+ year in injection molding setup, and the ability to read work instructions and communicate well within a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree in Plastic Molding Injection, or related field, preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of experience in an injection molding environment as a Setup Technician, preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Setup all scheduled machines per requirement in an efficient and economical manner.
• Follow proper mold installation procedures.
• Ensure water lines are connected and water flow is proper.
• Start up and process mold according to molding data sheet.
• Wipe molds, blow out water lines, and spray with protectant on removal.
• Store molds in proper location and mark for maintenance.
• Keep mold bases and accessories clean and organized.
• Work with Maintenance to ensure machines are in optimal condition to minimize downtime.
