Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering LLC is seeking a Set-up Technician with strong molding knowledge to prepare injection molding processes and set up equipment for assembly. You will oversee production activities in the supervisor's absence, work with material handlers, QA, and operators, and apply Six-Sigma concepts to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of plastic and/or molding processes.
• Knowledge of mold construction and components.
• Knowledge of properties of common injection moldable resins.

Responsibilities

• Mold set-up and process adjustments; document results.
• Troubleshoot machine problems and assist with maintenance.
• Train operators and ensure they are comfortable with duties before leaving the machine.
• Observe safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with operator breaks and provide backup for supervisors.
• Perform regular cleaning of hoppers, loaders, and filters.
