Havis-Inc seeks a Setup Technician - Molding in Ivyland, PA. This full-time role involves setting up machines, following mold procedures, verifying water lines and flow, and processing molds per data sheets. You will store molds securely and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, with 1+ year in injection molding settings, and can read instructions, work in a team, and lift up to 50 lbs when needed. Safety awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree in Plastic Molding Injection or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year in an injection molding environment as a Setup Technician preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math computations.
• Workplace safety knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setup all scheduled machines efficiently per requirements.
• Follow mold installation procedures.
• Ensure water lines are connected and water flow is correct.
• Start up and process mold per molding data sheet.
• Wipe molds, blow water lines, and apply protectant on removal.
• Store molds properly and label for maintenance/ storage.
• Keep mold bases and accessories clean and organized.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to keep machines in top condition.
