Job summary

Saint-Gobain High Performance Solutions - Life Sciences, Composites & Mobility in Portage, WI is seeking a manufacturing operator for 5th shift (Saturday and Sunday 10:30 am–10:30 pm) with additional 2–8 hour shifts during the week on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities include operating molding equipment, following procedures, maintaining 5S, documenting production data, communicating issues to QC, and completing production records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for long shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of molding equipment by accurately following documented procedures while keeping the area clean and up to 5S standards
• Effectively communicate problems to QC and other technical resources to ensure quality parts are made
• Follow good documentation practices including filling out forms for product traceability
• Computer entries using Factivity software to manage part production, real time labor, job tracking and machine monitoring
• Other jobs assigned by supervisors and leads
