Job summary

Magna International Limited is seeking a Molding Process Technician in Toledo, Ohio, to support molding operations, set up tools and equipment, and troubleshoot presses and robots. The role involves loading materials, running trials, and driving continuous improvements in the molding department.

Two-shift window with a second shift from 2PM to 10:30PM, requiring solid experience in plastics molding and tool setup. Associates degree preferred; forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum molding experience required.
• Experience processing plastics and setting tools.
• Knowledge of robot programming and troubleshooting a must.

Responsibilities

• Support processes and molding department goals.
• Initiate machine processes and adjust within tolerances.
• Perform tool changes and set up auxiliary equipment.
• Connect tools with water, hydraulic, vacuum, and electrical lines.
• Assist with setting up/loading material into the slitter machine.
• Troubleshoot injection presses and robots.
• Assist with troubleshooting assembly equipment.
• Monitor all injection molding processes.
• Analyze and resolve process problems and product non-conformities.
• Assist in setting up and starting new tools/materials for trials.
• Drive continuous process improvement in molding.
• Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
