Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a technical Injection Molding Process Technician in Northwood, OH. You will initiate and adjust molding processes, monitor equipment, and resolve process issues to improve efficiency. You will assist in tool and resin trials and work closely with the Molding Process Engineer.

Associates degree in a technical field is required; six years of related experience may substitute. Prior plastics processing and automation knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field required; six years experience may substitute.
• Three years minimum injection molding experience preferred.
• Experience with plastics processing and tool setting is required.
• Knowledge of automation systems and controls is essential.

Responsibilities

• Initiate machine process, adjust within tolerance, and recommend changes to improve efficiency.
• Monitor injection molding processes to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
• Resolve process problems and product non-conformities per production guidance.
• Assist in set-up and start-up of new tools and resins for trials.
