Silgan Dispensing is seeking a motivated Molding Floor Person for 2nd shift to support housekeeping, material movement, and material scanning in the Molding Department. The role involves daily floor cleaning, waste disposal, and accurate scanning of molded components and scrap.

The candidate will work in a high-energy manufacturing environment with responsibilities spanning from cleanliness to monitoring machine downtime and ensuring adherence to the molding schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Blow out assigned areas daily and sweep up parts.
• Oil mop production floor daily and report large leaks to supervisor/lead.
• Clean molding machines, conveyors and auxiliary equipment as required.
• Monitor downtime on machines and communicate issues to Process Tech, Lead or Supervisor.
• Scan molding production to warehouse within assigned area.
• Empty waste/trash barrels daily and dispose of waste properly.
• Accurately complete necessary documentation and ensure accuracy of scanning.
• Adhere to daily molding schedule regarding restarts, shutdowns and changeovers.
• Relieve associates in assigned area for breaks.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/lead.
• Follow all work rules and policies.
