Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to launch, sustain, and optimize molding processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires performing mold changeovers, configuring auxiliary equipment, and ensuring processes meet Quality standards and customer requirements.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with injection molding machines, forklifts, and a strong work ethic. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• Must complete forklift safety certification.
• Working knowledge of molding machines and auxiliary equipment required.
• Understanding of injection molding technology required.
• Capable of performing mold changeovers from start to finish.
• Strong work ethic and sound judgment/reasoning skills.
• Previous experience in molding required.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and be available for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality control results and implement adjustments accordingly.
• Review processes and make modifications where warranted.
• Carry out mold changeovers safely and efficiently at all times.
• Keep mold and fixture storage areas organized and maintained.
• Assess and troubleshoot injection molding machine performance, adjusting as necessary.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and records.
• Uphold housekeeping standards.
• Take on additional tasks as directed by their supervisor.

Job description

First / Second / Third Shift Positions Are Available !!!!!!!

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for launching, sustaining, and optimizing injection molding machine processes along with supporting equipment. All processes must satisfy or surpass standards established by the Quality department and align with customer requirements.

AUTHORIZED TO:

1. Initiate, stop, or modify a production process when necessary.
2. Decline to operate equipment or carry out actions that pose a safety risk.
3. Execute mold changeovers and configure auxiliary equipment as needed.
4. Carry out assignments delegated by their supervisor.
5. Handle minor maintenance tasks at their supervisor's direction.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive):

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role is physically demanding and safety-sensitive, requiring the employee to travel throughout the facility and climb ladders to access presses. Candidates should possess some or all of the following:

1. Must complete and pass forklift/tow motor safety certification.
2. Working knowledge of molding machines and auxiliary equipment required.
3. Understanding of injection molding technology required.
4. Capable of performing mold changeovers from start to finish.
5. Strong work ethic and sound judgment/reasoning skills.
6. Previous experience in molding required.
7. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs of materials and equipment.
8. Must maintain a reliable attendance record and be available for overtime as needed.
