Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Grandview, MO is seeking a motivated Molding Floor Person on 2nd shift to learn and develop in the injection molding environment. The role focuses on housekeeping in the Molding Department, keeping floors clean and safe, and accurately disposing of waste and scrap.

You will move molded parts and scrap, assist with tagging, scanning to the warehouse, and support downtime communication to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate information effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Blow out assigned areas daily and sweep up parts.
• Oil mop production floor daily and report large leaks to supervisor.
• Clean molding machines, conveyors and auxiliary equipment as assigned.
• Monitor downtime on machines and communicate issues to Production Tech/Lead/Supervisor.
• Scan molding production to warehouse within the assigned area.
