Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Molder for the 1st shift in Delavan, Wisconsin. You will operate plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components, perform secondary operations, and conduct in-process quality checks.

The role requires familiarity with hand and power tools and the ability to stand for long periods. Shift runs 6:00am–2:00pm Monday–Friday with occasional overtime; pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with potential increases after training.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools.
• Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs; steel‑toed shoes required on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part.
• Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging.
• Perform in‑process quality checks and communicate non‑conformances to proper personnel.
• Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities.
• Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.

We have an opportunity for a Molder to join our Delavan, WI team. You will perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard.

You will:

• Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part.
• Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging.
• Perform in-process quality checks and communicate non-conformances to proper personnel.
• Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities.
• Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools
• Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the production floor.

Shift/Hours:

• 1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday
• Overtime as needed either after shift or on Saturdays

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
