Job summary

Pentair plc is seeking a Molder for the 1st shift in Delavan, WI. You will operate plastic injection molding presses, insert parts, remove scraps, and perform secondary operations including sonic welding and deburring. You will conduct in-process quality checks and communicate any non-conformances to the team.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using hand and power tools. Shift is 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday–Friday, with possible overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools.
• Experience with sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic injection molding presses to produce components per standards.
• Place/remove inserts, remove parts, and perform secondary operations (deburring, sonic welding, minor assembly).
• Conduct in-process quality checks and report non-conformances; maintain KanBan quantities.
• Record productivity and quality data; support continuous improvement.

You will perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard. You will: Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part. Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging. Perform in-process quality checks and communicate non-conformances to proper personnel. Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities. Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.
