Job summary

Pentair's Delavan, WI facility is seeking a Molder for the 2nd shift to operate plastic injection molding presses and produce quality components to specification.

You will perform molding operations, secondary operations, in-process quality checks, and communicate non-conformances. The role includes KanBan management, productivity and quality reporting, and potential overtime with a competitive hourly wage plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and air tools.
• Experience with sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, lift up to 50 lbs; steel-toed shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Mold components and handle inserts and parts.
• Perform secondary operations (trim, sonic welding, deburring, machining, assembly, packaging).
• Conduct in-process quality checks and report non-conformances.
• Maintain KanBan quantities and card system.
• Prepare productivity and quality audit reports.

We have an opportunity for a Molder to join our Delavan, WI team. You will perform necessary operations on a variety of plastic injection molding presses to produce quality components at a predetermined standard.

You Will

• Perform necessary operations to mold components including proper placement and removal of inserts and removal of part.
• Perform secondary operations such as removing spurs and knockouts, sonic welding, deburring, machining, and minor assembly and packaging.
• Perform in-process quality checks and communicate non-conformances to proper personnel.
• Maintain card system and determination of KanBan quantities.
• Productivity reporting and Quality audit reporting.

Key Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools
• Experience using sonic welders, drill presses, arbor presses, pallet jacks, mills, measuring equipment, and scale grinders
• Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the production floor.

Shift/Hours

• 2nd shift 1:45pm – 10:00pm Monday – Friday
• Overtime as needed either after shift or on Saturdays

Compensation

The hourly pay for this role is: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. (plus an 8% shift differential) Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
