Qualifications

• 10+ years of mold design, tooling, or toolmaking experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience collaborating with global manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an internal tool shop, coordinating with toolmakers and mold design engineers.
• Conduct DFM reviews to ensure optimal product designs.
• Design and evaluate injection molds for medical connector components and cable assemblies.
• Develop tooling concepts including gating, venting, cooling, and surface finishes.
• Collaborate with product engineering to ensure manufacturable and cost-efficient designs.
• Coordinate with external mold shops domestically and offshore during design and qualification.
