Job summary

Randstad USA in Miami is seeking a dependable Mold Technician with strong mechanical aptitude to join the production team. You will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, maintaining, and setting heavy mold tooling to ensure optimal plant efficiency and part quality.

The role requires 2+ years of direct experience with mold tooling and tool room operations, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to safely lift and rig heavy tooling. Randstad offers a full benefits package and 401K.

Qualifications

• 2 years of direct experience with mold tooling, mold maintenance, or tool room operations in a plastics manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with tooling maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, lubricate, and rebuild mold bases, cores, cavities, and hot runner manifolds.
• Set, pull, rig, and store heavy mold assemblies using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Inspect mold cavities, cores, slides, and ejector pins for wear or damage.
• Disassemble, wash, clean, grease, and rebuild tooling assemblies between production runs.
• Pull molds from machinery and hang replacement tooling using rigging equipment.
• Connect, test, and troubleshoot mold water lines, hydraulic lines, and electrical connections.
