A leading manufacturing facility located in Miami is seeking an experienced, hands-on Tooling Manager to lead our toolroom and mold maintenance operations. • Prioritize mold repairs and assign work to toolmakers and machinists.
• Troubleshoot tooling defects (flash, short shots, wall variation, core shift).
• Run shot-count PM schedules; inspect, fit, and rebuild cores, cavities, slides, and ejectors.
• Validate mold alignment, cooling integrity, and mechanical function prior to production release.
• Oversee safe operation and upkeep of CNC and manual toolroom machinery.
• Manage vendor quotes and balance internal workload against outsourced repairs.
