Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company, Inc. seeks an experienced Injection Mold Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Buckeye, AZ. You will perform preventive maintenance, mold repairs, and tool changes to maximize uptime and product quality.

Responsibilities include diagnostics of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, milling and lathing mold components, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years in injection molding or tooling preferred.
Repair of hot runner systems and valve gates desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on molds and tooling to keep them in top operating condition.
Complete in-press mold checks and make-ready preparations to keep production running smoothly.
Diagnose and repair injection molds (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, hot runner systems) to maximize uptime.
Troubleshoot issues such as sticking parts, water leaks, hydraulic cylinder problems; collaborate with other departments.
Machine individual mold components using CNC mills, standard mills, and lathes.
Maintain proper surface finishes for optimal part release.
Disassemble molds and hot runners for periodic maintenance and repairs.
Share your expertise by teaching new skills to team members.
Follow all safety and quality standards while completing accurate documentation.
