Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Chaska, MN is seeking a Mold Technician to join our team. You will hang molds, perform barrel changes, and install all accompanying equipment for set-ups, with a clear path for career advancement.

This position mainly runs 2PM-10PM, Monday–Friday, offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to grow into lead roles and trainers. You will contribute to quality, production flow, and operational excellence while leveraging continuous improvement tools and maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship.
High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of mechanical or injection molding setup experience preferred.
Basic math, computer literacy, and accurate data entry skills; SAP experience preferred.
Competency using powered hand tools, fasteners, and measurement devices.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail for safety and quality.
Demonstrated problem‑solving ability in mechanical or process‑based environments.

Responsibilities

Set up production runs in the press and maintain auxiliary equipment.
Perform barrel changes and installation of auxiliary equipment in set-ups.
Complete setup/shut down and barrel purge procedures and job packets.
Monitor molded parts for visual and dimensional conformity; take corrective action when necessary.
Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, 6S, waste reduction).
Assist in safety and quality initiatives and maintain clean work environment.
Other duties as assigned to support production goals.
