Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Molding Machine Operator in New Hudson, MI to operate polyurethane casting and mold equipment and meet production specs. The role involves setup, mold preparation, quality checks, and safe handling of materials in a hot manufacturing environment.

This contract position starts ASAP with a 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift, onsite in New Hudson. Candidates will read work orders, follow SOPs, maintain clean work areas, and coordinate with production to hit daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate polyurethane casting and mold machines to manufacture parts according to detailed specifications and work orders.
• Prepare molds for urethane pouring, including setup, alignment, and verification of readiness for production runs.
• Break down molds after curing, safely remove finished parts, and prepare equipment and molds for the next production cycle.
• Measure, mix, and pour polyurethane materials into molds while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
• Operate curing ovens and related production equipment throughout the manufacturing process.
• Inspect finished products for quality, identifying defects, inconsistencies, or nonconformities and reporting issues promptly.
• Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and standard operating procedures accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in accordance with housekeeping and safety guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures consistently and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Safely lift, carry, and move materials and finished products weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Work effectively in a hot manufacturing environment while meeting daily and weekly production goals.
• Support general production tasks as needed, including packaging, coating, die cutting, and related machine operations.

Shift: 6AM-4:30PM (Monday-Thusday)

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
