Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Technician II, Mold Setter (Plastics) for the 3rd shift in Deland, FL. The role involves setting up and aligning injection molding machines, maintaining molds, and assisting with maintenance activities per FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 standards.

You will work to minimize scrap, ensure product quality, and support training and process improvements. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, documentation, equipment troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 1-year technical certification preferred
• 2 years medical device manufacturing experience or equivalent preferred
• Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485 and safety practices required

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned
• Set molds into injection molding machines and maintain molds
• Troubleshoot equipment and replace worn components
• Prepare maintenance records and order repair parts
• Operate measurement tools to verify tolerances
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and ISO requirements
