Job summary

Medbio, LLC is seeking a Tooling Technician I to perform preventive maintenance on molds and related equipment, including staging and de-staging of molds. The role supports Engineering staff and coordinates with outside vendors for repairs and maintenance, while developing IQMS ERP tracking for repair work orders and scheduled tasks.

This position reports to the Tool Room Supervisor and requires 3+ years in a molding environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work 40 hours per

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a molding environment.
• Experience staging and de-staging of molds.
• Understanding of molding, mold-setting processes and plastics handling.
• Ability to operate equipment such as overhead crane and hi-lo.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of molds.
• Document damage and requisite repair requirements.
• Follow procedures for maintenance and storage of mold components.
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Back up Set-Up Technicians when needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
