Job summary

Legend Brands is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician I/II to maintain and repair molds and tooling used in the production of injection molded and rotomolded plastic parts. You will troubleshoot mold issues and collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure consistent part quality.

The role requires at least 3 years of mold tech experience, familiarity with machining tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mold tech and/or 3 years' experience processing engineering resins preferred or the ability and skills to learn.
• Molding and/or stamping knowledge preferred.
• 3D CAD Modeling experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel - Ability to use computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with machinist tools required

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair molds and tooling used in production of injection molded and rotomolded parts.
• Troubleshoot mold problems and work with production team to repair quickly.
• Follow instructions and read engineering drawings to ensure molds produce high quality parts.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and document maintenance actions.
