Job summary

MRP Solutions seeks a Tool Room Technician to support mold and die repairs, set up tools and fixtures, and document repair procedures using IQMS. The role emphasizes safe setups, testing for leaks, and ensuring dimensional accuracy of assemblies and parts.

You will collaborate with Engineering, participate in tool teardown meetings, and contribute to standardizing procedures for repeatability and efficiency on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Support the Tool Room Supervisor in setup, testing, procedures, training, and updating IQMS relative to tooling and operations.
• Perform accurate, safe setups prior to operation.
• Test for leaks and electrical issues at startup.
• Verify dimensions and alignment of assemblies and finished parts.
• Document, standardize and create procedures for repeatability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering to enable effective vendor sourcing and participate in tool teardown meetings.
