Job summary

HellermannTyton in Milwaukee is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to evaluate, maintain, and repair injection molding molds. You will complete mold conversions and ensure compliance with IATF16949/ISO9001 and ISO14001 by following all policies, procedures, and required documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Above average mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with injection molding tools.

Responsibilities

• Clean all injection molding tools at end of each production run.
• Completely field strip mold according to PM schedule.
• Make repairs or replace components and notify management if beyond in-house capability.
• Document all work in tooling files and computer databases.
• Test and repair problems related to heaters, manifolds, and torpedoes.
