Job summary

BD is seeking an entry-level Mold Maintenance Technician in Sandy, UT. This on-site role supports preventative maintenance on molds, performing Level 3 PM and minor repairs under supervision.

The shift is 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a structured 2-3-2 schedule. You will gain hands-on experience, learn mold maintenance techniques, and progress within the maintenance team while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Comfortable working a 12-hour overnight rotating shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a structured 2-3-2 schedule.
• Automotive experience or work in a mechanical field is desired; past molding experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supply of spare parts and communicate needs to Mold Technician 3.
• Complete minor repairs on molds.
• Become proficient with Level 3 mold preventive maintenance and scheduling.
• Learn pin, cavity, and piston replacement under supervision.
• Report all possible tool abuse or unusual problems to Lead Person.
• Clean dirt, grease, corrosion, and gas from components before re-inventory or repair.
