Job summary

BD in Utah (Sandy) is seeking a maintenance-focused engineer to ensure optimal equipment performance in a molding automation environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with planners, and lead TPM activities to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role requires collaboration across shifts, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to develop technical staff while maintaining documentation and part readiness for planned maintenance and rebuilds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred in mechanical or related technical field.
• 3 years’ experience in molding automation manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment by performing PM activities, ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Planner for proper documentation of tasks.
• Conduct regular maintenance audits to improve PM effectiveness.
• Provide leadership for TPM activities as assigned.
• Assist with spare parts and materials for maintenance periods and rebuilds.
• Support manufacturing unit technical teams across all shifts.
