Job summary

BD is seeking an entry-level Mold Maintenance Technician in Sandy, UT. The role involves preventive maintenance, minor mold repairs, and supporting reliability of mold tooling. You will work under experienced technicians to build hands-on skills and progress within the maintenance team.

The shift runs 6:00 PM–6:00 AM on a 2-3-2 schedule. On-site collaboration is emphasized to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable working a 12-hour overnight rotating shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with a structured 2-3-2 schedule.
• Automotive experience or work in a mechanical field is desired; past molding experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the supply of spare parts and communicate needs to Mold Technician 3.
• Complete minor repairs on molds.
• Become proficient with L3 mold PM and schedule.
• Work under supervised training to learn pin, cavity and piston replacement.
• Report possible tool abuse and any unusual problems.
