The successful candidate will translate engineering drawings into production-ready models, understand manufacturing workflows, and maintain accurate design documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical cert or degree preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and modeling software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and translate designs into production-ready models.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and master mold layouts.
• Remote, but close to one of our facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and manage 2D/3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate mold types.
• Organize and optimize master molds for efficient production and pouring processes.
• Collaborate with multiple manufacturing plants to adapt models for each job.
• Develop layouts and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Maintain documentation of design changes for CNC and production teams.
• Coordinate with CNC programming team, providing guidance and technical support.
• Work with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of design and manufacturing processes.
