Job summary

Wells is seeking a skilled CAD specialist to create and manage 2D/3D molds using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. You will translate engineering drawings into production-ready models and collaborate with multiple plants to optimize layouts for efficient production.

Qualifications

• Proficient CAD modeling using 2D/3D tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
• Knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings.
• Experience translating designs into production-ready models and programs.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and manage 2D/3D molds and models.
• Interpret drawings and specs to produce accurate mold types.
• Organize and optimize master molds for production workflows.
• Collaborate with multiple plants to adapt models for each job.
• Develop layouts to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Maintain design and production documentation for CNC/production teams.
• Coordinate with CNC programming team for guidance and support.
• Ensure integration of design with manufacturing processes.
