Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking an Aircraft Electrician to troubleshoot, fabricate, install and maintain carrier aircraft electrical systems and components in Mojave, California. The role may involve other projects as the program expands, with work on new vehicle developments requiring aviation electrical expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting, fabrication, installation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of FOD control and tool control.
• Detail oriented with strong attention to safety.
• Honesty, responsibility, integrity and commitment fulfillment.
• Ability to problem solve and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform electrical trade functions including installation, fault isolation, maintenance and repair of wiring and connectors for aircraft power systems.
• Perform final functional and operational testing of electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to install and troubleshoot wiring installations.
• Complete all required installation records accurately and timely.
• Other duties as determined by management.
• Able to work in confined spaces or heights greater than 25 feet as required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalency (Level I)

High school diploma or equivalency + 5-10+ years (Level II)
