Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking an Aircraft Electrician to diagnose, fabricate, install and maintain complex electrical systems for carrier aircraft. The role involves troubleshooting, wiring, and testing to ensure system performance, with opportunities to contribute to new projects as Stratolaunch expands its program base.

Located in Mojave, California, this position emphasizes safety and accuracy, including FOD control, tool control, and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 0-5 years of relevant experience (Level I)
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate and 5-10+ years of relevant experience (Level II)
• 3+ years of experience in aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting, fabrication, installation and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Install, fault isolate, maintain and repair electrical wiring and connectors for aircraft power systems.
• Perform final functional and operational testing of electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and specs to install and troubleshoot wiring installations.
• Complete installation records accurately and timely.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Work in confined spaces or at heights over 25 feet as required.
