QualDerm Partners is seeking an experienced Mohs Surgery Medical Assistant to join our Wilmington, NC team. The role supports Mohs surgeons, prepares patients, and ensures a comfortable visit while maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

The ideal candidate has Mohs or surgical dermatology experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication skills to interact with patients and clinicians. Dermatology background is preferred for growth in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by taking histories, recording vitals, and addressing concerns.
• Assist surgeons by preparing and handling surgical instruments during procedures.
• Maintain surgical environment in line with safety and infection control standards.
• Provide post-operative instructions and support for recovery.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in EHR.
• Coordinate with administrative staff to schedule appointments and follow-ups.
