QualDerm Partners is seeking an experienced Mohs Surgery Medical Assistant to join our Raleigh, NC team. This role supports Mohs surgeons during procedures, prepares patients, and assists with documentation.

Dermatology experience is required; Mohs or surgical dermatology exposure is a strong plus. We offer a collaborative clinical environment with standard business hours and opportunities for professional growth within a leading dermatology provider.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience is required and Mohs or surgical dermatology exposure is a strong plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent with Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR and healthcare software; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by taking histories and vital signs.
• Assist surgeons by handling surgical instruments during procedures.
• Maintain a clean, compliant surgical environment and infection control standards.
• Provide post-operative instructions and support for recovery.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in the EHR accurately.
• Coordinate with staff to schedule appointments and follow-ups.
