QualDerm Partners is seeking a Mohs Surgery Medical Assistant to join our Wilmington, NC team. The role focuses on hands-on patient care, surgical support, and accurate documentation within a collaborative clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has Mohs surgery experience, strong medical terminology skills, and proficiency with EHR systems. Dermatology background is preferred and excellent communication is essential for patient and staff interactions.

Qualifications

• Mohs surgery experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; MA certification or surgical tech training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and surgical aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by taking histories, recording vitals, and addressing concerns.
• Assist surgeons by preparing and handling surgical instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Maintain surgical environment in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Provide post-operative instructions and support for optimal recovery.
• Document patient interactions and procedures in EHR.
• Coordinate with administrative staff to schedule appointments and follow-ups.
