Qcells North America is seeking a Module Test Lab Engineer to oversee the Module Testing Lab (MTL) in White, GA, coordinating schedules and IEC-standard testing across global teams. The role emphasizes training and hiring technicians, maintaining lab data, and ensuring timely, accurate test results.

The candidate will manage lab workflows, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality control and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• 3+ years in a laboratory setting, preferably in a management role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across global teams.
• Advanced Excel for lab data management, PivotTables and automated reporting.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Team player with goal-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the module testing lab (MTL) schedule for testing and communicate status and timelines.
• Create experiment schedules with end times based on priority and chamber availability.
• Maintain daily work and climate chamber availability for test sequences.
• Ensure tests conform to IEC standards and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate hiring and management of lab technicians.
• Maintain experiment reports, data entry accuracy, version control and archiving.
• Apply experience in material evaluation and qualification testing.
• Conduct failure analysis and drive process improvements.
