Job summary

The Module Process Engineer at Qcells North America in Cartersville, GA will lead shift and day Process Technicians, applying continuous improvement to enhance plant operations and alignment with OE, JE, safety and quality targets.

Responsibilities include developing sampling and testing methods, driving process improvements, creating documentation like PFMEA and control plans, and collaborating with safety, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver cross-functional changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relative experience in a process/environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implements methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.
• Execute duties while practicing safe work methods and adhering to plant safety rules.
• Lead cross-functional change efforts and drive new process and operations improvements with metrics and audits.
• Assist development of technical training plan for process engineering and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
