Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Process Engineer (Ingot) to support the Cartersville, GA plant. You will direct shift Process Technicians and apply continuous improvement to OE, JE, safety, and quality goals.

This role focuses on developing sampling, inspection and testing methods, leading process improvements, training teams, and generating documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans) while collaborating with EHS and operations to sustain safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3+ years of process engineering experience.
• Experience in an industrial/semiconductor or solar environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Proficiency in CAD, Statics, Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing, and evaluation of products.
• Initiates process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.
• Execute all required duties while practicing safe work methods and adhering to plant safety rules.
• Drive investigations and launch improvements via metrics and audits.
• Develop technical training plans for process engineering and Six Sigma/Lean methodology.
• Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel.
• Collaborate with EHS to lead safety projects and minimize incident risk.
• Act as change agent across safety, manufacturing and quality resources.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, etc.
• Maintain regular reports to track progress on plant improvements.
• Adhere to Hanwha Q CELLS policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
